Copeland Conservatives meet leadership contenders

On Thursday and Friday last week, members of the Copeland Conservative Association gave a warm, Cumbrian welcome to both of the final contenders in the Conservative Party Leadership Race.

The Rt. Hon. Jeremy Hunt MP met with Trudy Harrison MP, County and Borough Councillors and members and activists in Moresby. On Friday members met with Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson MP in Carlisle, ahead of the leadership hustings.

Both men are hoping to become the new leader of our great party and, therefore, Prime Minister. Copeland Conservative Association wishes both Boris and Jeremy all the very best with their campaign and we regard it a privilege to have two fantastic candidates to chose from, to lead us through the future.
