Cllr. Hailes and local people at the beach clean in St Bees.

Copeland Borough Councillor Jeff Hailes (St. Bees) attended the annual beach clean at St.Bees on Saturday morning. The clean up was organised by local resident, Melanie Greggain.

Commenting, Cllr. Hailes said "The event was very well supported by 25 people, all doing a great job for the environment.
Great work everyone and well done Melanie!!"

Whitehaven councillors have welcomed the “Fantastic news” that the government’s Coastal Communities fund has approved £2.45 million for a Cumbria Coastal Activities Centre in Whitehaven Harbour.
